I’m often asked how I got into photography…

Well, as far as I can remember I have always loved taking photos! Whether it was taking cringe Tumblr photos in middle school or doing a photoshoot with my stuffed animals, there was always a camera in my hand. My professional photography journey really took off when I joined the photography group in high school. I loved spending Friday nights shooting football or making portfolios for art competitions. I got amazing experience shooting photojournalism but also studio work for numerous projects.

My favorite memories from high school photography include getting to be a speaker at the Association of Texas Photographers on new social media strategies as well as winning best of show for one of my images!

After moving to College Station for school, I quickly became known as the photographer within my sorority. A couple of the older girls asked me to take their senior photos, and that is when my business really took off! Since then it has been more than 5 years of navigating my personal style and how to run my own business.

Funnily enough, my career plans are not in photography but rather medicine! I am currently a Master’s student here at Texas A&M and photography has been my creative outlet as I continue through school! I really value personalized experiences and always show my photos as I go. While I know this is not traditional, I want to make sure that my clients get the photos that they have been dreaming of! That is why I would describe my photo style as bright, colorful, and airy. I aim to enhance people with natural lighting and colors so that my images will be timeless.
